We are fortunate that through our day-to-day journeys and during our Sojourns we have made connections with organizations and artisan groups that we couldn't be prouder of.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the travel and tourism industry has taken a hit. We know we need to stand up and take action so we have decided to launch Lotus CommuniTees. Our aim is to invite more women around the world into this global community and show our support for the women and organizations who have made our Sojourns such powerful experiences. To us, this is the definition of girl power! ; )

People are starting to understand the importance of conscious consumerism and the effect it has on the world we live in.
It’s important to choose eco-friendly products that are eco-conscious and are made up of recyclable materials. People tend to be cautious about the pricing as it can be a little more expensive to shop this way but when you consider the benefit of choosing a ‘green product’ and your reduction of carbon footprint it's a win-win in our opinion.

Open Hearts Big Dreams Fund is a local non-profit that has big dreams to make a difference. They believe that in order to achieve your dreams you should not be disadvantaged based on which country you are born in. The founder’s youngest child discovered the inequity in opportunity around the world early and decided something had to be changed. OHBD focuses on creating Literacy, Art, Technology and Leadership opportunities for K-12 kids in an effort to close that gap and have a positive social impact around them.

It is a bulwark against poverty, and a building block of development…For everyone, everywhere, literacy is, along with education in general, a basic human right…Literacy is, finally, the road to human progress and the means through which every man, woman and child can realize his or her full potential.”
